How the Clue Cards work

1. Choose the cards

Choose from 142 stressors (we usually use between 20 and 40). There are pictures on one side, words on the other. Use the side that fits best for your child.

2. Choose the boards

Use 3 or 5 rating boards based on the child's age, language, and developmental level.

3. The Child Sorts the Cards

The child places each card on the board that best matches how much the stressor bothers them. Picture and word options make participation easier for a variety of learners.

4. Turn Insights into Action

The completed sort helps you better understand the child's experience so you can provide more effective support, accommodations, and interventions.
